This is something that has been in my brain for a VERY long time....

I saw a bumper sticker on the back of a car which said:

"Keep the Earth clean. It's not Uranus."

As an Astronomer, and a person who keeps his butt tidy, I am personally offended by this bumper sticker on many levels.
